Caitlyn Jenner's reality show I Am Cait loses half of its audience after just one episode

Caitlyn Jenner was immediately overcome with support by fans following the release of her Vanity Fair cover, amassing more than one million followers on her new Twitter account in just four hours.

However, not all of the 65-year-old's loyal social media followers (which now amount to 2.78M) are tuning into her E! series I Am Cait, as the fledgling show is already suffering a ratings slump.
Entertainment Weekly claimed on Tuesday that Sunday’s hour had only 1.3 million viewers, which was a drop of more than 50 percent from the show’s premiere.
The premiere itself had a somewhat modest debut, especially in comparison to the ratings Kardashian programming usually brings, as well as the amount of buzz that had been surrounding Caitlyn.
The series debuted with 2.7 million viewers, a number which grew to 3.9 million with the addition of DVR playback.
Though time-shifted viewing, such as the DVR numbers, is important, the significant drop in same-night viewing could be a troubling sign regarding viewer interest in the new series.

A sneak peek for the next episode of the reality series shows Jenner and her transgender girlfriends talking about dating and their femininity at a dinner party at her Malibu beach house.

'You would feel more feminine if you were with a guy,' says Jenner, who wears a white lace dress they sit around the dining table.
'I can appreciate the male form,' she admits.
Her girlfriends appear intrigued by the admission, raising their eyebrows and sharing surprised glances.
